What's In My Bag 2015

This is the bag I have been using recently. I got it during my trip to Taiwan a few weeks ago, and I've been using it ever since. It's a medium sized bag, so it doesn't hold a lot. However, it is the perfect size for me because, as you will see below, I don't usually carry a lot of things with me.

I've recently become obsessed with this light peachy colour, I think it's so pretty! You'll probably notice that some other items in my bag are also in this colour, or something very similar to it.

My favourite colour changes all the time. It was tiffany blue a while ago, the gorgeous shade of the Tiffany & Co. boxes. Now, i've become completely obsessed with this peach colour, so naturally I just gravitate towards anything that is this colour...

Sorry for going off on a tangent there, let's go back to the topic at hand!

This bag only has two zippered compartments, one in front, and one at the back. I will start by showing you what I keep in the front compartment.

Well frankly, not a lot.
Just this polka dot pouch from Forever 21 that I keep all the small items I would lose easily. I love this pouch so much because it resembles that signature polka dot design by Kate Spade. It's not feasible for me to spend a hundred over dollars on a pouch, so I just got a similar version by Forever 21.

Here are the things I keep in my polka dot pouch:

  1. A comb that my mum gave me
  2. A hand sanitiser from Nature Republic
  3. A simple hairclip
  4. An EOS lipbalm
  5. A MAC lipstick
  6. Some stationary in case I need to write something down (The pink pen with a crown on it was a gift from my friend Nayli, it's the prettiest pen I've ever had!)

Green Tea Hand Sanitiser from Nature Republic

This is one of my favourite hand sanitisers because it doesn't leave a sticky residue on my hands, and it smells amazing!

EOS Lipbalm in Strawberry Sorbet

First of all, I really like the packaging of EOS lip balms. They're so cute! Like tiny colourful eggs.

I've never been able to find EOS lip balms in Singapore, so when I found them in Taiwan's Watsons stores, I got really excited. However, this was the only flavour I could find...

I have to say that it's just as awesome as everybody says it is. At first, I was rather sceptical about the effectiveness of these EOS lip balms, but I tried it and it smells amazing, and does a really got job at moisturising your lips. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for an inexpensive and good lip balm.

MAC Lipstick in Ravishing

Another lip product I bring around with me all the time is MAC's Ravishing. Like all MAC lipsticks, it has very good colour payoff and pigmentation. It's the perfect understated coral, great for any occasion and for throwing on any time of the day. It's an "all purpose lipstick"!

I like to apply the EOS lip balm first to smooth out my lips. before using this MAC lipstick. This is because Ravishing will make all the cracks on your lips very obvious and prominent, so it's important that your lips are completely chap-free before applying it.

Those are the things I keep in the front compartment. Now, let us move on to the back compartment.

I also really like this bag because it has a long cross-body strap. That I can use to just hang the bag on my shoulder, which makes it a lot easier if i have to carry other things. This is the number one criteria I look out for when purchasing new bags, they need to have short handles, as well as a long cross-body strap. You might notice this characteristic in all my bags.

Oh that reminds me! I should do a bag collection post soon!

Back to the topic, these are the things I keep in the back compartment. My phone, my daily planner and my wallet. A phone and a wallet are just the basic items everybody has in their bags, so I won't be going into further details about them.

2015 Planner from Typo

This is the planner I use to keep track of all my important appointments and stuff, and to write down the things I need to get done. I won't be showing you what's on the inside because that's for the next post I'm doing! It's a Planner Organisation/How To Decorate Your Planner post, so do keep a look out for that. I'll be showing you some planner decoration ideas and all that kind of good stuff!

That is all for now, I'll be back in the next post!
