Hello Everyone! In my previous post, while I was showing you what I keep in my bag, I talked about my planner. And I mentioned that I will be doing a post all about my planner and how I decorate it.
However, I realised that it's impossible to cover everything in one post, so I will be splitting it into 3 separate blog posts. In this series, I will be showing you what I use to decorate my planner, how I decorate it, and lastly, how I organise my life using a planner.
I hope you would enjoy it! And if you have any questions, or if you want me to do more posts about my planner decoration/organization, please leave a comment in the comment section below.
Without further ado, let's hop right into the first of my planner series! My collection of all the stuff I use to decorate my planner!
Here is my deco collection, a variety of sticky pads, page flags, and various forms of tape. As you might notice, everything is very cute and girly. I find that they add a fun twist to my planner pages.
They brighten up my life. Literally...
My favourite items to use to decorate my planner are washi tapes, or other kinds of scrapbook tape. You can use tapes to line your border or to segregate out a section in your page.
Washi tapes are tapes made of rice paper, they are very popular with planner decorators and you can find them everywhere. I suggest trying to find them in your local craft or stationery store. They are usually very inexpensive and come in a lot of different widths and designs to suit your preference!
Or you could order them online! There are a ton of washi tape sellers on Etsy, so definitely go and check them out. I don't have a lot of washi tape because it's hard to find them in Singapore, so I've got to resort to ordering them online instead...
Another important aspect of planner decoration: STICKY NOTES AND STICKY PAGE FLAGS
As you can see, I went a little crazy here... These are a lot easier to find compared to washi tape. They come in so many different designs and they're all so cute! You can use sticky notes and flags to emphasise an important event, or to leave reminders for yourself. In the next part of my Planner Series, I will show you how I use these.
I purchased most of my sticky notes from Daiso, and others were found at stationery stores. However, if you can't find these at your local store, you can get them from Etsy.com. I've found lots of great sellers there, like TwoLilBees, Hello Ashleyann etc.
These are my favourite! You will see a lot of them when I show you my planner. I got them from Daiso.
I use the blue sticky note for reminders, and I write out my To Do Lists on the pink sticky note with the black cat.
These are beautiful as well! I like to use them to write out little reminders or quotes that I want to remember.

And these are just normal plain sticky notes you can find in practically every stationery store
Here are other forms of tape I like to use. My favourite are the Deco Rush ones, there are tons of different designs to choose from. And sometimes the company even produces seasonal ones, for example the one with the hearts is from Valentines Day. I think the ones with flowers are for Spring.
But do keep in mind that the Deco Rush tapes are pretty expensive!
That is the end of my Planner Decoration Collection! The next instalment of my Planner Series will be uploaded very soon, so be sure to keep a look out for it.
I hope you enjoyed this post, thank you for reading!
