Review On Vera Wang's Princess Perfume
Firstly, I am completely in love with it's packaging. The faceted heart and bejewelled crown makes it even more princess-y. It contains prominent notes of water-lily, apple, mandarin and apricot. Making it an extremely feminine scent. I find that most floral fragrances have a very distinct sweetness about them, but Princess is more of a sophisticated floral. One thing to note is that the perfume also contains vanilla, resulting in the liquid turning brown after a period of time. Like my bottle in the picture above. When you first purchase it, the liquid is a gorgeous bright purple. After a while, I noticed it turning brown. I was really scared because I had no idea what was happening, this is the first time I've ever had a perfume that turned brown. Then I went and did some research, apparently it is a common occurrence for perfumes containing vanilla to turn brown. But I've noticed that the scent remains unaffected, which is great! The scent lasts well throughout the day, something that I look for in perfumes so that I don't have to constantly reapply every few hours.
All in all, this is a wonderful perfume and it's the one I find myself reaching for all the time, I definitely recommend this perfume if you like girly scents. And because of it's lovely packaging, it's the perfect gift for your girlfriend or your daughter.
